National Principals Month: Danielle Coriell
To celebrate National Principals Month, we’re sharing some fun facts about our amazing school administrators. Today you’ll learn more about Mrs. Danielle Coriell, principal of Sixth Ward Middle School.
Here’s the inside scoop on Mrs. Coriell:
🔵 She’s been a principal for three months.
🔵 She says the most rewarding part of being a principal is interacting with students and teachers daily.
🔵 Her favorite subjects in school were English and social studies. She loved reading, writing, and discussing literature. “It felt like every day was different because of the content we were learning. I also enjoyed social studies because I had excellent teachers who made history come alive.”
🔵 Her favorite school lunch is gumbo.
🔵 One item on her bucket list is to visit and hike all of the national parks in the continental United States.
🔵 Outside of work, she enjoys reading, camping, and hiking/biking.
🔵 Fun Fact: She has been an assistant middle school football coach.
